About Us
Laetare is a young adult group for people aged 18-35 affiliated with the Roman Catholic church. The groups purpose is to be of service within the body of the church. As such the group organises retreats and pilgrimages for the members of Holy mother church. These events are OPEN TO ALL AGES.
Laetare differentiates itself from other young adults groups, in so far as the group is about encouraging young adults to serve other members of holy mother church. We encourage members to use their God given talents in the best ways that will foster this. The hope is that this will encourage other young Catholics to "Invest in their talents and not to bury them" as Christ strongly condemned the burying of talents.
The young adult members of Laetare are particularly devoted to the traditions of the Holy Roman catholic church especially with the expression of worship. This is namely the two most common expressions of worship within the church, namely the Tridentine Mass (otherwise known as the traditional Latin mass) and the Traditional Divine Office.
Volunteers are always welcome and may contact us if they wish to participate. We only ask our volunteers and members to be strong upstanding Catholics who attend Holy mass weekly as required and are actively striving for Holiness.
